Trying to do a little max spl stuff with the Tuba... but I can't get anywhere close without knocking stuff off of shelves haha This was Damian Marley - Road to zion half a meter in front of the tuba... maxed out the meter at 126db. It's a large room with 9ft or so ceilings, wood floors, not a lot of furniture. At the listening position it was a comfortable ~115db. I could still turn it up quite a bit but I knocked a picture off the wall... my bad. Oh and the SPL meter is tetering ever close to the edge of that acoustic foam!
